Mentoring

The 2015 USU Robbins Awards with theatre education students
Andrea Brandley (2015 CCA Scholar of the Year),
Nicole Martineau (2015 USU University Undergraduate Researcher of the Year),
Sarah Butterfield (2015 CCA Talent of the Year), and
Cameron Mumord (2015 CCA Legacy of Utah State Award Winner).

Mentoring emerging researchers, artists, and educators is one of my highest priorities. I encourage students to pursue lines of inquiry that interest them through both internal and external funding agencies and dedicate time to teaching research methods on an individual basis to students without formal training. My students have consistently won awards for research and creative work they have developed under my guidance, as indicated below.
